West End is a neighborhood in the city of Winston-Salem, NC. It is located on the western end of the Downtown Area, hence the name. The area has easy access to the Downtown area and many of the city’s business and commercial districts. Schools near West End

Schools are plentiful in the area surrounding the West End neighborhood. There are several schools you can enroll your children into as well as institutions of higher learning. Schools you could consider are Winston-Salem Street SchoolBrunson Elementary School, and Wiley Magnet Middle School. The North Carolina School of Arts is also on the eastern side of the neighborhood. The School is one of the most prestigious Art Schools in the State, and the area offers excellent housing options for students enrolled there.
